A new warehouse expansion completed in the summer
of 2002 increases production and warehouse space to 30,000 sq. ft.
Part of the expansion included the implementation of a powder coating
facility. Our in house paint line offers customers quality finishing
options in a short turn around time.
In February, 2002, Hunter Wire’s patented “M Chair” rink
chairs supported Winnipeg’s other international champions Clara Hughes
and Cindy Klassen as they skated to win medals at the Salt Lake City Olympics.
(Hunter Wire proudly supplied the rink chairs for the many
ice rinks at the 2002 Winter Olympics.)
